Special City Council Meeting

Monday, April 21, 2008

7:30 p.m.

A special meeting was called by Mayor Robert Hoffman on written request of 3 council members for the object and purpose of:

1.      Review city clerk applications, job requirements and pay scale

2.      City participation in County Wide Cleanup

Present: Mayor Robert Hoffman

Council members present: Todd Lumpkin, Brenda Loyd, Rhonda Gibson, Linda Roth, June Eakin

Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m.

Executive session was called to view and discuss applicants.

7:45 special meeting resumed

Lumpkin moved, Eakin seconded to keep wage and benefits for the position of City Clerk as they are. Motion carried 5-0.

Lumpkin moved, Roth seconded to have City Superintendent Harold Holsman pick up waste through out the week of April 28 through May 2, 2008. Motion carried 5-0.

Directive to print 125 flyers promoting the cleanup and ask Girl and Boy Scouts to deliver them.

Lumpkin moved Eakin seconded to adjourn the Meeting.

Meeting Adjourned 7:50 p.m.
